Gallery Night in Pensacola

Gallery Night Pensacola

Gallery Night is a free event held in downtown Pensacola seven times each year.  The event, always held on a Friday evening, is a giant block party showcasing local artists, bands, and cuisine.  Palafox Street is closed down while art galleries, stores, and restaurants stay open late.  The streets are lined with food and craft vendors while many bars have live bands playing on their patios.  Gallery night usually draws a crowd of around 15 to 18 thousand locals and tourists.

This fun street party is perfect for people of all ages.  Many restaurants move their bars outside and have drink specials. (You can walk freely outside on Palafox Street with your drinks)  There are also usually parades, entertainers, spray paint exhibits, and other fun for families to enjoy.  Gallery night is a great opportunity to meet up with friends and try some new places downtown.
