"Small town"

The town of Beaufort is very small and a bit limited, Ladys Island is right over the bridge and it’s a perfect spot to live whether you’re stationed at the naval hospital which would be about a 8 min drive, Parris Island about 12-15 min, or the air station which is a bit further out but still about 20-25 minutes there’s no traffic in the early morning but gets packed at around 4pm after work. It is a short distance from downtown which is where there will be a few events, there is a Publix nearby and some food but for local food you have to drive downtown or into Beaufort. On Lady’s island there’s a small plaza with some food and a really good pizza place. There’s a few schools on Lady’s island and one that has an indoor swimming pool and a good Mexican spot right next to the Walgreens on the corner.

Lady's Island is gorgeous and I highly recommend living here. Some parts take about 30 minutes to get to the Air Station Beaufort. There are marshlands, water front properties, lots of charm. I recommend looking here!
