"Great for Kids"

The police department is on Church Street, directly across from Bassett Hills Subdivision. Very quick response when needed - which is rarely. We have the feel of living 'out of town' while having everything within 5-6 miles of home - the base, shopping, restaurants . . . all the amenities of a larger city. We are within 3 miles of an elementary school, middle school, and perhaps 4 miles to the high school. GREAT location for families. If we were not moving 'home' to Maine, we would remain right here.
