"Base Officer Housing"

Base Living is Good, Surround Base is Not Safe. Base living is good, avoid exits around the base. I almost got carjacked on the exit 6 Walmart. Avoid exits 1-6. Not good and filled with crime.
Good shopping and restaurants on exit 10.

First time stationed on an Army Base. Compared to the Marine Corps base, these folks are living the dream! They just build a new gym when we were there. They had a ton of family activities on base.

I can't really say how the schools were since my children were not school aged. It seems like the elementary schools on base were good.

Pros Cons
  1. Safe on Base
  1. Lots of crime around the neighborhood.
