"Freeport - Florida's best kept secret!"

After living here for almost 2 years I am blown away by how friendly and supportive this city is of its people. This is a real community! I also love the fact that we are moments away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the country (20 minutes south across the bay) and a short drive to I-10 if you want to take a road trip out of town. Dining, Shopping, Entertainment is all just a short drive away...but as fast as Freeport is growing the entertainment and other amenities will be bountiful soon enough.

How would you describe this Area of Town: parks and recreation, neighborhood, outdoor activities, locals spot
Recommendations: I recommend living in Freeport for a couple of reasons. First is that this is the right time, growth is happening so we have already added some new conveniences that help with the day to day needs. Housing is still affordable but prices are increasing at a good pace, so there is a good investment opportunity. (Talk to a local Realtor for more advice ????) I have children in all 3 schools and the smalll classes make it more enjoyable and more effective. They all love the schools and the staff. Second is the proximity to everything we want to do, without being stuck in the middle of it and having to deal with the tourist traffic everyday. Best of both worlds.

We are in Freeport and love it! 30-45 minutes to Eglin. Affordable house prices with easy access to the 30A beaches.
