Kayaking is my new favorite activity to do with our family! Kayaking??? Until recently I thought you had to be a super sporty, outdoorsman to kayak. Pensacola is home to the minor league baseball team, The Blue Wahoos. The team plays in the gorgeous bayfront stadium, located downtown right on the Pensacola Bay. The Blue Wahoos play over 70 games in Pensacola, with the season running April through the end of August. Tickets range from $6-13 and children under 2 are free. I walked for hours most days while living in Pacific Grove, which meant I was able to see many more miles of scenic interests than perhaps a tourist cruising in a car would. A good friend and local turned me onto a loop of about 6 miles that included beach front trails tying Asilomar State Beach and the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail together. Both are well known and well loved by residents and tourists alike.
