Great neighborhood for military families. The neighborhood has a nice mix of military and civilians. Easy transition for children to the neighborhood.

"West Springfield Close to Everything"

West Springfield has seen tremendous growth in the 18 years I have lived here.

West Springfield features a Giant, Whole Foods, Monty's Steakhouse, Austin Grill, BGR, Ledo Pizza, two yogurt shops, Victor's Pizza, a bike shop, a gym, two drug stores and several banks.

West Springfield High School is undergoing renovations and plans are being made to widen Rolling Road to accommodate the extra traffic due to the Geospatial Agency down the road. Many improvements have been made to the Fairfax County Parkway nearby as well. Within 10 miles is the NGA and Ft. Belvoir. It is 5 miles to the metro and there are several bus lines that run through the neighborhood.

"West Springfield Virginia is a great place to live!"

West Springfield is just 10 minutes from Fort Belvoir and Metro (double that during rush hour). Plenty of shops, restaurants, a gym, worship centers, bus lines. Several subdivisions have civic associations that promote community relevant information. It's a great place to live and close to everything. Only 4-5 miles outside the beltway. Also close by the new Springfield Town Center which will open in the Fall.
