Absolutely love the entire Great Bridge Chesapeake area! Has that safe and friendly country feel, but close to all city-type conveniences. The schools are wonderful. As a woman I even feel completely safe to go to Walmart at 2am. You can tell that the residents in Country Club Meadows (and all the surrounding areas) truly care about keeping their neighborhoods clean and pretty. I hope the military brings us back to Hampton Roads again and we wouldn't live anywhere else but Great Bridge!

We lived in this neighborhood from early 2004 to late 2011. All the neighbors are super friendly and truly watch out for each other. Everyone keeps their yards clean and manicured. The neighborhood is super quiet but very child friendly. There are always joggers, families taking walks/riding bikes together and lots of dog walking. I hope the navy sends us back to Virginia so that we can live here again! The schools are top notch as well.

How would you describe this Area of Town: Shopping
Recommendations: This area is very safe and kid friendly as well as convenient to just about anything you would ever need to shop for, movies, dining and recreation. It's about a 25 minutes drive to Norfolk Naval Station and about 35 minutes to Oceana.
