We absolutely love Bainbridge Island. The commute to Bangor is about 30 minutes and there is hardly any bad traffic. We moved here for the schools. We are 5 minutes from the Seattle Ferry. Lots of military in this area. If you Home School, there is a big community here as well. We love it and itâ€™s so beautiful here, however it can be a commute to base and to Silverdale/mall area. Look into activities at the rec for kiddos. Best part is quick access to Seattle.
