"Friendly Neighborhood close to everything"

Lago Mar is a great neighborhood located in the southern portion of Virginia Beach. It's close to everything...Shopping, dining, beaches, bases and great schools. Within Lago mar are multiple parks and a tennis court. The neighborhood civic league hosts fun events throughout the year -Easter egg hunt, Fourth of July Parade and party, October Fest and Frosty in the park. Mature landscaping and a lot of trees make this non-cookie cutter neighborhood popular. Red mill commons is a bike ride away, there you can find restaurants and shopping. Lago Mar is split into a few sections, the original (early 80's-90's) "classic" Lago Mar and the newer portion ( Back Bay) which is still being built on today.

"Fabulous homes, great schools, friendly neighborhood"

LagoMar is the best neighborhood in Virginia Beach. It's coastal living with the added bonus of great school and great shopping. It offers both the easy access to the beach, bases and shopping with the feeling of a small community within the neighborhood.

2011 was the 4th consecutive year that Red Mill Elementary won the "Governor's award for Educational Excellence." Red Mill commons shopping center won "The Best of the Beach" in 2006 and 2007.

There is new construction homes or established lots with mature landscaping to choose from. Easy access to many of the bases in the Hampton Roads area.

We bought our home while moving across country to the Oceana area site unseen! We found a gem in this neighborhood with great neighbors and the perfect balance for our family. Close to so many of the great things Virginia Beach has to offer!
