"The Perfect Little City"

Fall Church City is an excellent place to raise children. It's the perfect combination of a thriving city with the feel of suburbia. Everything you need is all within 1sq mile. Drs, dentist, grocery store, restaurants, parks, etc. We bought our first house here and we love it. The neighborhoods are very friendly, quiet, and safe. There are lots of community activities for young children and support groups for Moms. Could not have asked for a better area to live. One down fall is the high taxes, but you definitely get what you pay for.

"Best of a Small Town Inside the Beltway"

Falls Church City is surrounded by Arlington and Fairfax County, but is its own independent jurisdiction with its own school district. In 2014, US News and World Report ranked Falls Church City's high school, George Mason, the state's number one traditional high school.

With approximately 13,000 residents and inside the beltway, Falls Church City enjoys the qualities of a low-key, close-knit small town as well as easy access to the Orange and Silver metro lines. The 45-mile W&OD Trail (Washington and Old Dominion) runs right through the city and on it you can walk, run or bike east into DC and west out to Leesburg.

Falls Church City is only 2.5 square miles and is quite walkable- growing more so every year with several innovative infill developments. The award-winning Farmer's Market runs year-round. The community comes together celebrating the beginning of school with a 5k fun run, spring Blues Festival, summer movies and concerts in the park and the famous Memorial Day Parade.
