"Lakeside community with fabulous schools!"

I must admit up front that I may be bias in my opinion and also need to point out that my wife’s family helped to establish the city of Belton, TX back in the late 1800’s but, honestly, if circumstances were different, I would be there now.

The city has one of the best school districts in the state and even operates schools outside the city boundaries because of its high praise and success rate.

My family likes the lakeside communities such as Belton’s “Northcliffe” or the city of “Morgan’s Point Resort”. Both areas offer affordable options to service members - especially if you have a boat or jetski.

Nearby parks, sports fields, and walking trails also run throughout the area.

  • Recommendations: Other then Belton's "Northcliffe" and the City of "Morgan's Point Resort", I would try Temple's "Canyon Creek", "Forest Trail" or "Bird Creek" neighborhoods. Avoid flood areas! Use M&B Auto in Belton for all car repairs (not my family - just nice people)
