"Fox Farm"

Fox Farm is one of the most requested neighborhoods in Great Falls due to the fact that it lies in the Meadowlark School District. Meadowlark School is a popular elementary school in Great Falls. Even though it is a Public School it is often thought of as a more exclusive school for elementary students. If you are moving to Great Falls with elementary age children, you have most likely been told you should buy a home in this area. I am not going to give an opinion either way on the school but I can tell you more about homes in the area.

Another bonus in the area is Meadowlark Country Club – a private 18 hole golf course with tennis, swimming and dining. The Country Club lies along the eastern boundry of Fox Farm right along the beautiful Missouri River.

The Fox Farm area has been developed in many stages and is made up of several subdivisions. To make it easier, most in the Great Falls area call the entire area south of 10th Ave S between the Missouri River on the East and the Railroad Tracks to the West, Fox Farm.

There are Condo’s, Apartments and Single Family Homes in the area, as well as several Motels and Restaurants.

Many of the homes were built in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. You will see many architectural styles from single level homes to split level and tri-level homes as well as many custom built homes. Many have been upgraded partially or completely, but the floorplans and styles still reflect the year of construction. Most have very well established landscaping. The smaller more dated homes can start in the $150,000 range up to $400,000+ for larger updated homes. Mid range is typically around $200,000 for a 3 Bed 2 Bath home.

Newer subdivisions have started in the last 10 years or so and are lovely homes in the $250K – $400K range.
