"Area with very expensive services."

This area is quite appropriate for people who have a high capital because its cost is really high (approximately 300k). Also, the services in this area are very high cost, however on the other hand it is an area where you can have a suitable recreation and can serve varied entertainment.

"Kentlands Planned Community"

Large planned community that feels like a small town. The Kentlands contains homes, apartments, assisted living facilities, restaurants, shopping, businesses and schools. It is a beautiful area that is well-kept. Sidewalks make walking easy. Weekend farmers market, outdoor concerts, festivals, and community events are commonplace in the Kentlands. It is a great area to live, shop and dine.

"Kentlands of Gaithersburg, MD"

The Kentlands of Gaithersburg, MD is one of the most beautiful communities in the DC/NCR area. It offers a midtown district with grocery stores, restaurants, sidewalk shopping, and a ten screen movie theater. One of our favorite summertime activities includes the live music concerts sponsored by area businesses. Residential areas all have parks and pools within walking distance. The park near my house often hosts neighborhood birthday parties, petting zoos, and swim meets. This is a heavy Halloween celebration area, we started with over 500 pieces of candy and had to make additional runs to the store within just the first hour. The nearby schools all have excellent ratings (per our neighbors. we are Empty Nesters).Great area for children, Great pet area (even in rental apartments)

  • Recommendations: We arrived in the DC area during a major winter snow storm (Feb 2010). Not only did our power never go out, but we were also able to drive around town. Other surrounding areas were without power for weeks and roads unplowed. Firestation on backside and two hospitals are close. Police normally keep onepatrol car on duty in the community.
